We have an exciting opportunity for an ESG Standards Audit Manager role in a Business Consulting and Services company headquartered in Gloucestershire. It is a management and technical consulting organisation that combines project incubating and execution knowledge, as well as communications and public relations talents, to provide value to our customers' businesses. A senior consultant with expertise (8+ years), who is also energetic, intelligent, inquiring, highly analytical, and detail-oriented is needed by the company to fill a full-time role that will begin right away.

Job Requirements:

• Masters's degree demonstrating mastery of appropriate subject areas as well as critical thinking, data collection and analysis, and writing skills: sociological geography, global development or strategy, environmental or natural resource administration, business, and human rights.
• MBA or master's degree is preferable.
• A least 8 years of relevant professional experience is required; working as a consultant or for a project to establish sustainability standards is preferable.
• Research and analysis: knowledge of how to do desk-based, including qualitative and quantitative, research.
• Aptitude for data analysis and organization; investigative intelligence collecting instinct.
• Rigidity and attention to detail: desire for deliberation, accuracy, and completeness in everything.
• Auditing expertise doing due diligence and evaluations in the areas of human rights, employment, environment, traceability, and chain of custody, and expertise in Asia (India, Thailand, China) and Francophone Africa is preferred.
• The ability to evaluate and enhance best-practice guidelines and assurance systems as well as knowledge of voluntary standards, certifications, and initiatives are desirable.
• The Responsible Steel Initiative, the Responsible Jewellery Council, the IRMA, the ASI, the Fairtrade Initiative, the management system standards (such as ISO 14001 and SA 8000), the IFC Performance Standards, the OECD Due Diligence Guidelines for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, the LBMA, the World Gold Council, the TSM, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and other relevant standards and initiatives are all.
• Proven ability to convey facts, information and suggestions in writing and utilising graphs, pictures, and other visual aids; the ability to present well in person is also a plus.
• Project management requires aptitude or expertise in planning, organising, and motivating team members.
• An ability to listen, frame, negotiate and contract.
• Understanding of or practical experience in one or more sectors. (For instance, the leather, natural rubber, and synthetic materials industries, electronics, automotive, energy, food, and agriculture.
• Chinese language skill is a great benefit, although excellent English language ability is required.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
