We have an exciting opportunity for a Vice President role with a financial services firm in London. Our client is a multinational financial company with a long-standing presence in Hong Kong and a progressively growing global network. It aspires to act as a link between the Chinese and international capital markets. They have been well placed to represent corporate, institutional, retail, and high-net-worth clients all over the world. They are searching for talented individuals to join them on their road to success.
Key skill and experience:
- At least 3 - 4 years of relevant job experience.
- a bachelor's degree in finance or a related area.
- With solid investment and financial sector experience in both domestic and international markets.
- English and Chinese (Putonghua) fluency are required.
- Currently (or previously as CF30) subject to the same rules by the Financial Conduct Authority (or equivalent regulatory authority), or with Certificate in CISI Capital Markets Program (CISI Level 3 –UK Financial Regulation and Securities).
Responsibilities
Key Requirements and Duties:
- Have a strong partnership with UK-based institutional equity investors.
- Promote to institutional investors the company's analysis, IPOs, corporate access, and prime brokerage services, commercialise those services, and increase the market share of the company.
- Grow and extend the institutional clientele
- Coordination with other departments is necessary to maintain a smooth workflow.
