We have an exciting opportunity for a Mandarin-speaking Sales Support Officer post in a London-based Aviation firm. The firm, which has its headquarters in the City of London, is a prominent full-service Aviation Firm. The firm is currently looking for a Mandarin-speaking Sales Support Officer having a background in Sales, and strong organizational and communication abilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a travel agency, airline, or related travel industry is preferred.
  • Capable of efficiently organizing and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent creative thinking skills.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Completion of BA Parts 1 and 2 is required.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin language is desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year in the travel industry or hospitality is required.
  • Must possess a UK work permit enabling permanent employment.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service for Agents: Possess knowledge of reservations and ticketing to effectively address daily queries from agents.
  • Market Analysis: Actively observe market trends and competitor activities.
  • Sales Support: Develop, implement, and execute sales activities in alignment with the sales strategy.
  • Partnership Development: Formulate, negotiate, and sustain relationships with pertinent tourism/business partners and external collaborators for the benefit of EVA Airways.
  • Database Management: Maintain and oversee the business partnership database, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Social Media Management: Regularly update and manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Website, etc.).
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other routine duties as assigned or required.
