We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager role in a Nottingham-based rapidly growing international Transportation, Logistics and Storage company. It is seeking an experienced person to fill this role. The Account Manager will help with day-to-day operations and contribute to the business growth.
Job Requirements:
- Work exposure in logistics/supply chain for at least 1 year.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or Logistics is preferred.
- Experience motivating and persuading operational teams.
- Excellent organisational abilities and adaptability.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Mandarin fluency.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to persuade others.
- Ability to solve problems quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of IT and systems.
- Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Build new and existing client relationships.
- Verify that the shipping documentation is complete and in the correct order.
- Communicate with shipping lines, international agencies, and other forwarding companies.
- Initiate payments to the shippers.
- Raise invoice.
- Contribute to the creation of business strategies and determine the appropriate input metrics that drive growth and enhance the end-customer experience.
