We have an excellent opportunity for a Procurement & Planning Manager role for a building materials company that is London based. The firm is a multi-award-winning supplier of environmentally friendly building materials. This is a hands-on position with complete responsibility for the company's day-to-day procurement and stock planning. The applicant must be able to commute or plan to relocate to the employment location before beginning work.

Job Requirements:

•    CIPS level 4 is being studied or finished.
•    Familiarity with Chinese Vendors (essential).
•    Working experience with Indian vendors (preferred).
•    Excellent negotiating abilities and a track record in the procurement and planning industries
•    Demonstrated abilities of cost-cutting, such as expense reductions, improved product quality, and shorter lead times.
•    Superior Excel abilities and ERP system expertise are required.
•    Well-organized, with a keen eye for detail.
•    Multitasking ability.
•    Willingness to travel if necessary.
•    2 years of experience in planning and purchase.
 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

•    Complete stock management responsibility, covering holding levels, projections, and buffer management.
•    The administration and ordering of all third-party stock, as well as the creation and maintenance of Stock Purchase Orders in ERP.
•    Estimate and anticipate stock at the SKU level based on historical data and anticipated sales demands, with weekly adjustments based on actual vs. forecasted demand.
•    To avoid stock outs, keep an eye on stock levels, production, and shipping lead times.
•    All vendors' performance should be monitored and managed.
•    Contact point and building relationships with all vendors (EU, UK, China, India) to lead and push changes to guarantee timely manufacturing and delivery.
•    Ensure buying contracts, including delivery conditions and payment terms, are owned and negotiated by the company.
•    To handle sluggish moving stock, understand, minimise, and collaborate with sales division.
•    As possible quality, vendor, and transportation concerns emerge in the market and communicate them.
•    Management of newly launched items and guaranteeing proper purchasing levels.
•    Control of ERP stock setup and product database systems.
•    Freight / Shipping / Duty / Dropship control.
•    Guarantee stock accuracy for Inbound by resolving supplier stock discrepancies and problems.
•    Supervisor of main in-house FSC is and completing the essential checks.
•    As needed, develop reports and analysis to aid the company.
•    Present cost assessments and efforts on a regular basis to improve supply chain efficiency.
•    Monitoring and upgrading procedures on a regular basis to ensure successful planning.
