We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Managing Director role in a London based Restaurant Group. This Authentic World Kitchen, which is inspired by the world's greatest five-star hotels, offers a variety of fresh cuisine one-stop and raised the buffet idea to new heights. With numerous locations under our belt and more on the way, we're on our way to becoming one of the UK's largest restaurant chains. This position is responsible for providing the Managing Director with competent and well-organized business assistance. You will have experience assisting senior management in the management of a variety of teams and driving the success of a fast-growing company. A motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial and critical thinking attitude, who thrives on leadership in a fast-paced working environment and can deal with volatility, is required for this position.

Job Requirements:

•    A bachelor's degree is necessary; an MBA or other higher degree is preferred.
•    At least 10 years of senior-level exposure in a responsible company, with at least three of those in business operational/managerial.
•    Outstanding communication and presenting abilities.
•    Extensive experience in multinational food, beverage, and consumer goods (FMCG) corporations.
•    Possess a positive and adaptable mindset, as well as the capacity to address problems and think proactively.
•    Ability to travel throughout the United Kingdom in order to fulfil the role's demands.
•    The ability to communicate in Mandarin is advantageous.
•    Perform various responsibilities as directed by the MD in order to keep the company moving ahead.
 

 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

•    Assist the MD in effective organisational responsibilities for Food & Catering, as well as leading a team of GMs.
•    Responsible for the day-to-day execution of authorised strategic plans.
•    Develop, execute, and manage the operational components of the yearly budget in collaboration with other C-suite professionals.
•    Efficient and inspirational leadership via active involvement in operational planning and a thorough understanding of all organisations.
•    Identify ways for the company to use cross-program capabilities to seize new opportunities and/or solve organisational problems.
•    Lead, teach, develop, and maintain the division's high-performing senior executives, with a focus on strategic analysis and decision-making, as well as programme budgeting.
•    Develop and propose an annual operating budget, administer efficiently within this budget, and report properly on the progress accomplished and obstacles experienced.
•    Incorporate solid fiscal management into group operations to ensure their financial viability.
•    As the quality of the existing management team develops, provide a bridge between the present and the future by transitioning from a very detailed-oriented job to a more leadership-based one.
•    Create a mechanism for gathering and monitoring the strategic plan's progress monitoring.
•    With the help of your finance manager, make sure that the MD and senior management team are provided with timely and appropriate financial data.
•    Assist HRM in ensuring that the division's human resources guidelines and procedures are followed.
•    Supervise risk management and legal operations, such as letters of agreement (LOA), contracts, leases, etc., in conjunction with the Group legal function.
