We have an exciting opportunity for a Growth Manager role in a global Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Company. It is the industry leader in producing hydraulic and pneumatic torque wrenches. With more than 5 decades of experience and a global clientele, it has earned the title of the most reputable brand in the sector. For the China and Mongolian markets, they are currently looking for an ambitious and self-driven growth manager. This person will assist in maximising the enormous potential of the world-class product and support offer.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of demonstrated extensive sales management accomplishments in China,
- Must have previously lived and worked in China but now reside in the UK.
- A background in heavy industry (power generation, oil & gas, mining, construction, etc.) is essential.
- Knowledge of sales analytics, including performance vs. goals, pipeline management, KPI, etc.
- Successful experience generating new business.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
- Extensive international travel, at least 60%.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall market expansion in China and Mongolia.
- Fostering growth by collaborating with a sole dealer/distributor and his sales representative in China and Mongolia.
- Assist in recruiting qualified sales personnel and offer technical instruction along with sales leadership.
- Manage both new and veteran salespeople to make sure they consistently reach their annual sales targets.
- Develop a plan to target as many industries in the territory by identifying new, emerging industries there and working with the sales team to put it into action.
- Recognise competitor weaknesses and comprehend customer issues to assist the sales team in offering solution selling that helps overcome price challenges.
- Work closely with the current exclusive distributors and provide HQ with information on untapped markets and industries so that a strategy to pursue those markets and industries can be developed.
- Assist in the coordination of communications between the foreign office and headquarters.
- Respond quickly to time-critical situations to improve/resolve any unresolved issues.
- Ensure product expansion in target markets while motivating the sales team.
- Analyse the market and make sound decisions to capitalise on current conditions.
- Make sure all customer service guidelines are followed.
- Collaborate with executive management to establish product and consumer demands.
- Constantly monitor adherence to brand management and marketing initiatives.
