We have an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Sales Coordinator role in a California-based Food and Beverage Manufacturing company. It is an internationally recognized brand of genuine Asian sauces and condiments as well as a sign of reliability and quality. The sales coordinator will assist with the routine sales operations function.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant work experience and/or training in the food industry, or a similar combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP is a plus.
- Reliable, thorough, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions provided in writing, verbally, or visually using common sense.
- Capable of dealing with problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
- English language proficiency is a must, as are excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be fluent in Chinese; reading and writing skills are preferred.
- Must be able to apply fundamental mathematical concepts to daily tasks.
- Able to travel 10% outside of the office.
- Essential job functions necessitate standing, sitting, kneeling, and walking.
- Occasionally moving and/or lifting to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Order processing and product delivery coordination (both domestic and international).
- Respond to inquiries from customers and provide customer service.
- Adhere to the policy and procedures.
- Keep an eye on inventory levels to ensure that products are available for orders.
- Create product bulletins for promotional goods and customer price lists.
- To set up a new account, prepare the Customer Master Record form.
- If necessary, provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA).
- Create warehouse requests for trade samples or special promotions.
- Process returns for damaged or expired products.
- Collaborate with Sales to track down aging AR, such as outstanding invoices, late payments, and credit memos.
- Work together with the sales and marketing department to coordinate matters such as product specifications, insurance certificates, shipping product samples, product demos, and customer complaints.
- Make any necessary business plans, correspondence, projects, and reports.
- When needed, assist/cover other markets and customers.
- SAP assistance.
- If necessary, required to travel locally.
- Carry out any additional tasks and obligations as assigned.
