We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy General Manager role in one of the top restaurant chains in the UK. It is seeking experienced Chinese speakers for this position.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant sector is required.
- Someone who is motivated by service and will not make compromises for a simpler existence.
- A track record of successfully leading and developing teams – coaching, mentoring, and sharing the excitement.
- The capacity to operate as a team member as well as a leader.
- A knack for detecting and fixing issues quickly and efficiently.
- Good communication abilities.
- The ability to successfully manage time and meet deadlines.
- You will be well-versed in all compliance and back-of-house operations.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all activities of the restaurant and take decisions in the absence of the General Manager.
- Manage the restaurant's routine operations, including food preparation and customer support.
- Work with the GM on all administrative and HR operations, such as hiring, orientation, development, and productivity of Team Members.
- Work with the general manager on inventory, revenue and profit optimization, customer satisfaction, ordering of food, tools, and consumables, and arranging for routine maintenance and repair of the restaurant, its equipment, and premises.
- Maintain a close watch on quality control, advertising, health, safety, and cleanliness, as well as customer relations.
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service in accordance with corporate goals.
- Resolve customer issues and be in charge of marketing and financial planning.
