We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant role in a UK based accountancy and tax advisory firm. This small growing firm has a client base across the world. The firm is seeking to hire an experienced Mandarin speaker to fill this role.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Fluency in Mandarin.
- A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience is necessary.
- Excellent accounting knowledge.
- Practical knowledge of VAT returns and payroll.
- Candidates with experience with Quickbooks Online, Xero, or both are preferred.
- It is necessary to be able to travel to/relocate to London W4 1ER.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Adding entries to the accounting system and/or double-checking entries produced by automatic feeds.
- Payroll Processing.
- Automated systems are used to prepare VAT returns.
- Periodic (internal) account preparation utilising automated proformas in Quickbooks Online or Xero.
- Company secretarial duties include updating Confirmation Statements and handling dividend certificates.
- Assist in the production of yearly accounts utilising in-house preparation software.
- Pursuing non-paying clients.
