We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assistant Buyer role with a public safety company in the West Midlands. Our client is well-known for providing high-quality products at a reasonable price. They are trusted by end-users across a wide range of industry verticals and are distributed by a dedicated network of protective gear retailers.

The assistant buyer will work strategically as part of the purchasing team to source and negotiate existing and new products, as well as to build long-term relationships with key suppliers.

Key Skills and Experience:

• You must have outstanding organisational and administrative abilities, as well as the ability to keep documents, such as inventory planning, up to date.
• You have the ability to stick to a work schedule in order to reach goals, deadlines, and primary performance metrics.
• Making a Decision- When it comes to making decisions about product production for the company, you must be commercially conscious.
• Teamwork- Ability to show team ethos support and the ability to collaborate with others to find a solution and effective next steps.
• Business and Commercial Awareness- Understanding of the company, its priorities, the market sectors in which it operates, and the relationship between its key activities.
• Additional languages- Experience with the Mandarin language would be beneficial.
