We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Conveyancer in one of London's top law firms. They seek licensed conveyancers with extensive expertise in commercial and/or residential conveyancing, covering freehold and leasehold purchases and sales, new builds, Help to Buy, and shared ownership. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing transactions from initial inquiry to post-completion. They should possess a strong commercial mindset, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to make meaningful contributions to the firm's ongoing success.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial and/or residential conveyancing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage heavy workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Capable of working under pressure while achieving performance targets.
- Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (required).
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills (preferred but not essential).
- Hybrid working option available after 6 months.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a personal caseload.
- Deliver high-quality legal services to all clients.
- Conduct client meetings, provide practical advice, and take instructions.
- Advise clients on applicable laws and legal issues relevant to their matters.
- Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior paralegals, trainees, and legal assistants.
- Draft property-related legal documents, correspondence, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and changes in legislation.
