We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Developer role in an Education services company based in London. They are looking for a dynamic Business Developer to join their team. The perfect candidate will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships, and devising strategies to enhance our market presence.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional fluency in Cantonese and or Mandarin.
  • Must have sales confidence.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to do research.
  • Business savvy and a desire to achieve goals.
  • Motivated to perform in a goal-oriented atmosphere.
  • Must be able to effortlessly adjust to various cultural and business environments.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Investigate the Chinese education consultancy market to uncover opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and execute plans to build and grow the company's market presence in China.
  • Competitor Analysis: Study competitor actions and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and sustain robust relationships with clients, schools, and educational institutions in China and the UK.
  • Client Account Management: Oversee client accounts to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues.
  • Communication Facilitation: Coordinate effective communication between clients in China and the offices in the UK.
  • New Business Development: Follow up on new business opportunities to boost market share.
  • Presentation Delivery: Create and present compelling presentations to attract potential clients and partners.
  • Sales Goals: Meet sales targets and support the company's overall revenue growth.
  • Partnership Formation: Forge collaborations with local agencies, schools, and educational authorities.
  • Event Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions in China, the UK, and Hong Kong.
  • Stakeholder Networking: Engage with key stakeholders to boost the company’s reputation and expand its influence.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute marketing strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Digital Engagement: Utilize social media and other digital platforms to increase brand visibility.
  • Event Coordination: Manage logistics for events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Frequent Travel: Regularly travel between China, the UK, and Hong Kong to oversee and manage business operations.
  • Travel Coordination: Organize and manage travel schedules and arrangements.
  • Cultural Adaptation: Seamlessly adapt to diverse cultural and business environments.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with both the UK and China teams to align strategies and exchange insights.
  • Work Environment: Promote a cooperative and supportive atmosphere across all regions.
