We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Sourcing Associate for a Sports Recovery and Fitness E-commerce Company based in the UK and EU. This role requires a combination of entrepreneurial mindset, project management expertise, and strong negotiation skills. The candidate will collaborate with both existing and new suppliers to oversee product life cycles, participating in the entire process from conception and bulk purchasing to product launch.

Job Requirements:

Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential.
Knowledge of Cantonese is not required but is advantageous.
Must possess a BSc or BA degree.
Requires 1-2 years of experience in a business, sourcing, or product development setting.
Experience in negotiating with and managing suppliers is necessary.
Capable of working efficiently in dynamic, cross-functional teams.
Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed, with the ability to present ideas and negotiate with founders and suppliers at all levels.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with company founders to develop new products, focusing on innovative technology-based recovery and wellness solutions, from ideation to final production.
Work closely with Chinese suppliers to design and develop advanced, cost-effective products, ensuring alignment with company values in terms of quality, materials, pricing, and design.
Coordinate bulk order placements with Pulsio’s stock planning team to maintain consistent stock levels in line with company growth.
Conduct market research to identify trends and analyze the competitive landscape, using this information to guide the development of new or existing products.
Negotiate with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
Manage the entire supplier relationship, including sourcing new suppliers and maintaining ongoing communication through WeChat.
Oversee production processes to ensure they meet quality control standards and timelines.
Implement and refine procurement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize supply chain disruptions.
Assist in the final stages of product development, including sourcing and collaborating with render/photography artists, packaging designers, and product guide creators.
Provide input for continuous product improvement and innovation based on consumer feedback and sales data.
