We have an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified Immigration Solicitor or Paralegal - Caseworker role in a London-based Legal Services firm. This is a renowned law firm with decades of experience in immigration, citizenship by investment, and human rights law, as well as European Union laws. To join the team, they are seeking a newly qualified paralegal/caseworker or solicitor with vast experience in all facets of private and corporate immigration, along with the Points-Based System.
Job Requirements:
- Professional attitude with enthusiasm.
- Must have extensive immigration experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to establish trusting bonds with both clients and colleagues.
- Excellent English, both spoken and written.
- Aptitude for meticulousness and close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Excellent organisational abilities as well as the ability to organize tasks.
- Teamwork dedication.
- Capability to meet tight deadlines.
- Availability to commute to Central London.
- Excellent data handling and numeracy abilities.
- IT proficiency.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Information gathering and explanation of clients' immigration options during meetings.
- Providing clients with information on the proper documents required for their case.
- Liaison with the UKVI.
- Investigating and analysing caseworker guidance provided by the Home Office and the Immigration Laws.
- Following new developments in immigration rules.
- Application preparation and submission, appeals, judicial reviews, etc.
- Providing instruction and liaising with Barristers.
- Assuring that clients know the specifics of their case and are kept up to date on any developments.
- Maintaining thorough and current case files on LEAP (training will be given).
