We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of International FOB Operation role in an Appliance, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing company based in the UK. Distributing in more than 100 nations the company has evolved from a small, family-run UK company to a major global distribution network that provides customers with amazing quality and value from a globally known brand people know and trust. They are looking for a full-time Head of International FOB Operations to supervise the routine operations of the FOB Sales team in the UK office, from sales orders to factory direct shipments for their global customers.
Job Requirements:
- Chinese, both spoken and written.
- Professionalism to the highest degree and utmost confidentiality at all times.
- A positive attitude as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail Participation in a team environment while demonstrating the capacity to work independently.
- Capable of prioritising and managing workload.
- Motivated and self-motivated.
- Capability to plan ahead of time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding analytical abilities.
- Exceptional IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Accounting system understanding.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the FOB Sales team in the United Kingdom.
- Understand the entire FOB process, from sales order entry to customer delivery.
- Maintain and add new product codes as needed.
- Follow up with Chinese factories on sample requirements for new and existing products.
- Obtain factory purchase orders from the Chinese factories for customer FOB orders.
- Assure the factories that new products will comply with all packaging requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Artwork team to ensure that all appropriate artwork is sent to factories for customer orders.
- Collaborate with Hong Kong’s procurement team to negotiate factory buy prices.
- As needed, provide ad hoc sales support and coverage.
