We have an exciting opportunity for two Logistics Coordinator roles in an Appliances-Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing company based in Berkshire. With offices and an active distribution network in several nations worldwide, the business has emerged as a market leader in the production of specialised solutions to safeguard consumer and industrial electrical and electronic equipment. The Logistics Coordinator is in charge of processing all inbound sales orders and ensuring prompt shipment, especially for Commercial Shipping.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of logistics experience is necessary.
- The candidate must be able to function both independently and in small teams.
- Must be comfortable using a computer to enter data.
- The candidates should ideally be located near Slough-Langley and they must have a legal permit to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Updating Sales Orders.
- Adding delivery notes to the appropriate warehouse for pickup orders.
- Giving warehouse and freight forwarder packaging and shipment directions.
- Managing the freight forwarder's collection of goods from the warehouse.
- Submit all relevant export papers, including the packing list, the CO, and the CEI.
- Notifying clients of delivery information and the required documents.
- Responsible for collecting and submitting POD for all shipments.
- Organizing pre-shipment inspections and interacting with the inspection agency.
- Negotiating with banks on Letters of Credit.
- Dealing with Chinese, Thai, and Egyptian manufacturers.
- Arranging for the preparation of component shipments to the Manufacturers.
- Daily inspection of the sales order book.
- Updating dates from the PO.
- Data entry for the freight spreadsheet.
- Managing Freight Quotes.
