We have an exciting opportunity for an Import Clerk role for a logistics company based in Basingstoke. They are in search of a seasoned Import/ETSF Clerk with a minimum of 1 year of experience, possessing knowledge of UK customs procedures, to oversee staff and support daily administrative tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Essential knowledge of UK Customs procedures is required.
- Having experience in Import Console/ETSF is highly preferable.
- Familiarity with ASM Sequoia and CDS is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Chinese is a plus. Leadership skills are also beneficial.
- Dedicated individuals who take responsibility for completing challenging tasks.
- Must be able to consistently commute or plan to relocate to Basingstoke.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming phone calls and furnish the requested information.
- Arrange, categorize, and file documents based on given instructions.
- Carry out data entry assignments.
- Utilize a computer to input data and complete transactions.
- Conduct elementary research using computer systems.
- Assist in strategizing and executing diverse administrative initiatives to guarantee the smooth operation of the office.
- Handle phone calls and generate message logs.
