We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator in a London-based international distributor of technical ceramic parts, components, and refractories. They are looking for someone to take on the role of Supply Administration and interact with all of their Chinese-based suppliers.
Job Requirements:
• A technical and or engineering-type background.
• University graduates on a student visa looking for long-term employment after visa expiration are also welcome.
• Experience in the mining industry is desired.
• Problem-solving, and outstanding verbal and written communication.
• Computer literacy is essential (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• The ability to execute the fundamental tasks of this job must be shown.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities (written & verbal).
• Ability to perform precise and quick arithmetic computations.
• Excellent ability to negotiate and manage relationships.
• English and Mandarin are both fluent.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of quality control and product inspection.
- Travel to China a few times per year for business reasons.
- Administrative and import responsibilities.
- Other responsibilities as and when needed.
