We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable role in a Health, Wellness & Fitness company based in Houston. With distinct product lines, each uniquely engineered for specific applications, the company designs unrivaled commercial, light commercial, and home gym equipment. They need a full-time Bilingual Chinese Accounts Payable Clerk. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and be proficient in MS Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- 2+ years of accounting experience is required.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Possess the ability to follow directions using common sense.
- Flexibility, motivation, resourcefulness, and organization are required.
- Demonstrated capacity to function well in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Accounts payable processing includes reviewing, matching, processing, and posting by:
Evaluating all invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment.
Checking and approving all payment vouchers; also preparing invoice deduction notices.
Assembling and printing all reports and checks for the accounts payable
Notifying the supervisor of any unusual transactions or situations.
• Receiving inventory into the system with VRA.
• AR for payment methods such as check, credit card, wire transfer, and so on.
• Work with the appropriate department to resolve any trucking, AR, or purchase inventory issues.
• Help with the physical inventory.
• File maintenance, both in the system and on paper.
• Assist in projects delegated by supervisors.
