We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader role in the UK's leading East Asian food retailers. The organisation is searching for motivated Cantonese or Mandarin-speaking individuals in the retail/food industry to work full-time in our Chinatown location. Successful applicants will have relevant retail and customer service expertise.
Job Requirements:
• Cantonese or Mandarin fluency, spoken and written.
• Prior administration and inventory control expertise is required.
• Prior retail expertise in a fast-paced setting is required.
• Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Willingness to perform hands-on chores.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• To facilitate that all processes are followed, monitor work and coach the team.
• Train and inspire the staff to give exceptional customer service in order to increase revenue.
• Maintain the stock levels on the shop as per the standards.
• Assist all retail divisions, from checkouts and delivery through restocking and the latest product preparation.
• Support the deputy manager and store manager with employee rotas, shift schedules, attendance and medical leave administration, and other duties as assigned.
• Assist the shop manager in maintaining health, safety, and food requirements.
• Assume key holder functions, such as opening and shutting the shop.
