We have an exciting opportunity for a Threat Researcher role in an Internet Publishing company based in Manchester. The firm is a server-side bot monitoring solution that uses an advanced detection engine to defend websites, mobile applications, and APIs against automated attacks. It is searching for a Threat Research Analyst to join the Threat Research Team, which is expanding. This personnel will be in charge of studying cyber dangers and informing the appropriate parties of their findings.

Job Requirements:

Self-starter with a strong desire to succeed.
Capable of adapting to shifting objectives and working under pressure.
Willing to work in a fast-paced workplace.
Eager to learn new abilities and improve existing ones on the job.
Ability to code/develops (for creation and tool maintenance).
Understanding the open, deep, and dark webs, and being aware of how to navigate these safely.
OSINT tools and tactics are familiar.
A fundamental grasp of networking and the web.
Writing abilities for reports.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Acquiring, processing, analysing and distributing cyber threat intelligence.
Automation of intelligence collection techniques.
Automation of intelligence collection techniques.
Customer-focused, analytical, and investigative research.
Generation of threat research profiles.
Tracking of threat actors and their widget toolkit functionality.
From the standpoint of threat research, occurrences are examined to offer context.
Reporting on the results of the CTI.
Tool development, maintenance, and updates.
