We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant role in a Hongkong based Accounting firm. The firm has diversified services with specialities in Tax, Audit, Incorporation, Personnel & Immigration, Intellectual Property and Investment Consultancy. It is seeking to hire a bi-lingual experienced Senior Accountant to be onboard.

Job Requirements:

ICAEW, ACA, ACCA, or similar accounting qualifications are essential.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin.
Over 3 years of PQE in practice.
Financial reporting expertise in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
A winning attitude and a willingness to take up early duties.
Energetic nature with excellent communication abilities and the capacity to form strong bonds.
Business-minded, eager to learn, and able to display leadership abilities.
Reliable, well-organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
Must have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Be in charge of a portfolio of South-East Asian clients.
Prepare financial documentation and reports for management, investors, legislative authorities, and other entities.
Prepare and submit yearly corporate tax returns.
Prepare and submit a self-evaluation.
Examine and file VAT returns.
Analyze financial data for managerial objectives.
Interact with management and other experts to prepare budgets and other expenditures.
Prepare periodic financial statements, budgetary evaluations, and financial projections.
Use accounting system (Xero).
Provide clients with payroll services.
Establish a professional working connection with clients as well as the team.
