We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst role in a Management Consulting company based in Manchester. The company is an independent consulting firm, it assists businesses in decreasing payment expenses by optimising card processing, optimising interchange, managing cash flow and implementing PIN and PINless payment acceptance, as well as developing payment strategies and implementing big data analytics. The firm is looking for creative applicants that are self-starters with excellent numerical and problem-solving abilities and have some previous job experience to back up their claims.

Job Requirements:

•    A degree with at least a 2:1 (or European equivalent) is required (Preferably a bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, science, or a similar field with a strong numeracy component.)
•    Some job experience that may be demonstrated through internships or other means
•    Critical thinking abilities, as well as the capacity to use logic, creativity and problem-solving approaches
•    Microsoft Excel abilities and expertise are essential.
•    Knowledge of all main Microsoft Office applications.
•    Communication abilities are exceptional.
•    A desire to learn more about project management concepts.
•    Strong organisational abilities, including the ability to handle and prioritise numerous activities at once.
•    Professional demeanour.
•    Excellent precision and attention to detail.
•    The capacity to communicate fluently in a English and in Mandarin or Cantonese.
 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

•    An in-depth and sophisticated study of supplier chains for client payments, including both external and internal procedures and costs, utilising mathematical models, accessible benchmarking data, and industry information is part of the responsibility.
•    Assessment of complicated customer data from several European nations and languages
•    Using business techniques and independent judgement, offer opportunities and improvements to client agreements and back them up with comprehensive analysis.
•    Look into improving internal processes to encourage efficient data analysis and, eventually, add value to client projects by driving process changes.
•    Coordinate and manage projects effectively with advisors to guarantee deadlines are fulfilled.
•    Learn everything there is to know about each of the company's markets.
•    Generating accurate information to connect with clients using a variety of media, such as Spreadsheets, official reports, and slideshows.
•    Attend meetings with advisors and offer technical and analytical assistance.
•    Provide customers' suppliers with complete responsibility for written paperwork, attachments, and pricing tables during the negotiating process.
•    Securing the timely completion of actions by all stakeholders (internal and external) in order to maintain all projects on schedule and budget.
•    Ensure commercial contracts and service level agreements for the firm and its clients are being reviewed.
