We have an exciting opportunity for a in a Controller Motor Vehicle Manufacturing company. The Controller will be responsible for managing all facets of financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and human resources. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and delivering strategic insights that contribute to the company's financial stability and growth.
Job Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or NAV.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and performing well under pressure.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee accounting and internal control policies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial transactions and records.
- Ensure accounting staff completes routine tasks and special projects accurately, aligning with departmental and company goals.
- Manage daily processes for cash, check, wire, and ACH collections and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements.
- Provide quarterly budget vs. actual analysis for various departments.
- Review and approve accounts payable to ensure correct coding and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee payroll review and reconcile payroll deductions.
- Record and review monthly journal entries as needed.
- Liaise with bank representatives on matters related to wires, ACHs, credit line activity, and treasury management, including loan compliance.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets.
- Collaborate with external accountants and provide documentation for the annual financial review.
- Prepare documents for annual tax filings.
- Identify departmental opportunities for efficiency improvements in reporting, processes, or data analysis.
- Present financial information and insights to senior management, including preparing reports and presentations as required.
