We have an exciting opportunity for a Research and Development Manager - Embedded Software in a Rotherham-based Appliance, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing company. They are looking for an experienced and focused individual to join their highly motivated team.
Job Requirements:
- Adequately skilled and seasoned with a comparable industry background.
- Multiple years of experience in Project Management.
- Familiarity with structured project management approaches.
- Capability to oversee numerous projects concurrently.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing stakeholders.
- PRINCE2 certification.
- Technical expertise in hardware, embedded firmware, software, and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of embedded software products.
- Proficiency in automated testing.
- This position requires bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to project management protocols for all projects.
- Gather data from pertinent departments and present projects to the management team at checkpoints.
- Take ownership of the project plan, initiating with the baseline pre-development stage and sustaining it throughout the development and validation phases.
- Facilitate seamless project handover to the implementation team for product introduction into production.
- Manage resource plans to facilitate the scheduling of upcoming roadmap developments.
- Oversee associated peripherals such as keypads and expanders, among other components.
