We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager role for a food production company based in London. The company is a major fresh produce business situated in London that specialises in authentic Asian cuisine. Currently, they are looking for a Mandarin Speaking experienced HR Manager to join the team.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A CIPD certification is strongly recommended.
- Graduates with a level 7 qualification will be the most in-demand.
- An MBA in HRM could be considered alternatively.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated HR generalist experience is required.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, as well as proven leadership talents and a good understanding of employment legislation and its implementation, are essential.
- Human resource managers should be proactive team members with excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive experience in developing and assisting line managers through transformation.
- It is critical to be able to retain secrecy while still acting with discretion and diplomacy.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Updates job criteria and job descriptions for all roles to keep the work structure in place.
- Lead recruitment, testing, and interviewing programme; counsels managers on applicant selection; conducts and analyses exit interviews, and recommends modifications to the organization's workforce.
- Establishes and implements orientation and training programmes to prepare personnel for new responsibilities.
- Conducts periodic pay surveys; schedules and conducts job assessments; prepare to pay budgets; monitors and schedules individual pay actions; and recommends, plans, and implements pay structure adjustments.
- Maintain payroll and payroll records, as well as keep accounts informed of any changes.
- Assure employee work results are planned for, monitored, and appraised by training managers to coach and reprimand employees.
- Scheduling management meetings with personnel; reviewing and addressing employee issues; advising employees and supervisors
- Maintains employee benefits programmes and teaches employees about benefits through research and analysis of benefits needs and trends.
- Advising management on benefit programmes; directing the processing of benefit claims.
- Acquiring and analysing benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; creating and implementing benefit programme instructional programmes.
- Monitor and implement appropriate human resource federal and state regulations; conducts investigations; maintains records; and represents the organisation at hearings to ensure legal compliance.
- Prepares, updates, and recommends human resource policies and procedures to maintain management guidelines.
- Monitoring historical HR records through creating a file and retrieval system, as well as preserving both previous and present information.
- Attending educational programmes, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies to keep technical and professional knowledge up to date.
- Completes human resource operating needs by scheduling and allocating staff, as well as monitoring work performance.
- Recruits, selects, orients, and trains human resource personnel.
- Maintains job results for human resource professionals through coaching and punishing employees, as well as planning, monitoring, and assessing job results.
- Contributes to team effort by completing relevant tasks as needed.
