We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor role in an Australia-based retail company. They are seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to support the management of their expanding distribution center. The ideal candidate will be an experienced warehouse supervisor who will collaborate closely with the Operations team to meet service commitments. The warehouse supervisor will play a key role in fostering internal relationships and ensuring seamless operations.
Job Requirements:
- Proven expertise in warehousing and distribution operations
- Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred
- Prior experience in e-commerce or fashion industry is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in team leadership and management
- Technically proficient; adept at troubleshooting
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the development and efficiency of a high-performing warehouse team
- Assist in managing warehouse operations, including stock receipt, dispatch, order processing, and returns management
- Oversee inventory organization and control
- Coordinate communication with departments, staff, and suppliers
- Maintain up-to-date stock control systems and plan for future capacity needs
- Provide daily briefings to the team on key operational issues
- Ensure workplace health, safety, cleanliness, and security standards are met
- Drive and implement process enhancements
- Support courier and transportation management, overseeing delivery receipt and dispatch operations
- Supervise warehouse staff and manage casual workforce scheduling
- Conduct hands-on training for newly hired warehouse personnel
- Physically demanding role — may require lifting up to 20kg
