We have an exciting opportunity for an ACCA - CA - ACA Qualified Chinese-speaking Assistant Finance Manager for a  Real Estate company based in Shenzhen. With a focus on the major cities in the central and western regions, this "Fortune Global 500" company has developed into a top provider of life services, construction, and urban and rural development. The company has expanded to include long-term commercial rentals, warehousing and logistics, ice and snow resorts, and other industries. The Assistant Finance Manager will play a crucial part in assisting the financial, investment, and asset management functions of the Chinese and UK counterparts and will be exposed to all financial, accounting, budgeting, and tax workstreams responsibility.
 

Job Requirements:

  • Accountant possessing 3-5 years of professional experience with the ACCA/CA/ACA qualification (or comparable qualification).
  • Self-starter with the drive and versatility to function both individually and in a small team.
  • Proficient verbal and spoken communication abilities, including the capacity to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • IT literate with extensive knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous real estate work experience is preferred.
  • Mandarin Chinese language skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the company's financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage the daily financial activities of the business and its investments.
  • Prepare and examine financial data, and create quarterly, annual, and monthly reports according to predetermined deadlines.
  • Report HK and HQ levels of the company's financial results and position.
  • Provide informative and precise projected and historical financial data and analysis to support all reporting requirements and long-term and short-term decision-making processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all statutory deadlines for accounts and financial reports, including the management of teams and local statutory audit procedures. 
  • Ensure that all statutory deadlines related to tax obligations are met.
  •  Maintain external relationships with the company's auditors, outside providers of accounting services, lenders, financial services providers, and various regulatory entities.
  • Forecast, handle, and monitor budgets in collaboration with the Finance Manager and the Managing Director.
  • Examine the minutes from the board's meetings and the latest investment information for the assets currently handled.
  • Comprehend financial laws and regulations, abide by them, stay up to date on their changes, and apply them correctly.
  • Assist with the financial due diligence for transactions involving investments and divestitures.
