We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Operations Manager role in a China-based lamp manufacturer. It is the biggest designer and manufacturer of holiday light festivals and LED lanterns globally. The ideal candidate will be diligent and driven, able to work in a busy setting, and flexible with travel arrangements.
Job Requirements:
- The ability to travel at any time is required.
- Must be able to work with a flexible schedule, concentrate on several tasks at once, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Chinese Mandarin and English bilingual.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- The position is 80% remote, but translation is required during the project's setup (45 days), maintenance (60–90 days)—during which time housing, food, and transportation are provided—and dismantling (14 days).
- Keep an eye on project operations to make sure each stage is being handled in accordance with the schedule.
- Creating a strategy and efficiency techniques to improve processes.
- During times of expansion, remote hiring and training of new employees.
- Retaining current accounts and improving relationships in business.
- Participation in tradeshows and conferences as needed.
- During crucial project phases, translation between staff members who speak Chinese Mandarin and clients and teammates who speak English.
