We have an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing and Business Development Manager role in a Wholesale Import and Export company. The business has developed into one of the biggest sourcing agents, and currently provides services to clients worldwide. A person with extensive experience is sought for this position.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of expertise in sales/business development is required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience sourcing/purchasing and importing from the Far East.
- Experience with physical products, manufacturing, and preferably furniture.
- Able to commute regularly or make plans to relocate (required).
- Fluency in Chinese is desirable.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and our offices in China and the Far East.
- Prospecting for potential clients entails a combination of incoming leads and specifically addressing different companies that are likely to require our services.
- oversee and assist with the sourcing activities to ensure that the supplier, the product, and the prices are in line with the customer's requirements.
- Plan meetings and visits to customers to foster relationships and better understand their operations and needs in order to facilitate orders.
