We have an exciting opportunity for a Visa and Passport Consultant role in a Consumer Services agency based in Washington, DC. It is the leading provider of immigration and visa services for corporates and individuals with locations worldwide. The role of the Visa and Passport Consultant is to deliver best-in-class customer service to our clients through customized travel solutions that address unique needs and also play a key role in assisting clients with the visa and passport application process, enhancing client satisfaction, and serving as brand ambassadors.
Job Requirements:
- Previous work in a corporate office setting for one year.
- Although not necessary, prior experience in the travel industry is an asset.
- Ability to learn new programs quickly, commitment to data integrity, and proficiency with computer software (must be very proficient with Outlook).
- Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese is preferred.
- Interacting closely with coworkers in an open office setting while being exposed to computer screens.
- Capability to view a computer screen for the duration of an eight-hour shift.
- Long periods of sitting.
- Manual dexterity is required to operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
- Being able to speak clearly and accurately while using a phone while conveying detailed information.
- Walking (15% of the day).
- Light lifting is required (no more than 25 pounds).
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Increase productivity and efficiency by becoming an expert in processing passports and visas.
- Gather the traveler's required documentation, then deliver it to the proper Consulate.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by informing customers in-depth about services that are compatible with their needs and guiding them toward informed choices.
- Understand customer requests and make suggestions based on particular travel requirements, ensuring reasonable expectations that encourage a loyal customer base.
- Ensure accurate data submission to maximize productivity by maintaining customer records in a private database and utilizing system functionality.
- Maintain a professional image for the company by adhering to company policies and procedures and adhering to company policy and ethics.
- Other tasks as assigned.
