We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Manager - VP/SVP role in a Banking company based in the City Of Industry, California. It is a private commercial bank that provides business and international banking services to emerging middle-market enterprises, investors in real estate, and small businesses. The infrastructure for the Bank's mission will be built and maintained by the Information Technology Manager, who will oversee and actively participate in a variety of tasks.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field.
- Worked as an IT Manager or have relevant experience.
- Outstanding expertise in computer hardware/software systems, information analysis, and technical management.
- Knowledge of data center management and data governance.
- Extensive knowledge of computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Capability to manage people.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform application risk analyses on the IT and information systems of the Bank.
- Keep the Bank's information and technology systems in compliance with all applicable government agency regulations (FFIEC, FDIC, 3rd party examiners, etc).
- Create and maintain policies and practices for delivering technology, handling escalated situations, and responding to emergencies and disasters (business continuity/disaster recovery).
- Accountable for the connectivity of the data centers across the organization as well as the prevention of data loss.
- Continuous operational health, security, monitoring, and response.
- Vendor administration.
- Project administration.
- Documentation (possibly for cloud services, the inventory, the network, the firewalls, and the elevations of the hardware and racks)
- Give instructions to the IT Technician so that he or she can complete the necessary tasks.
- Planning and carrying out maintenance for all infrastructure and services.
- Change Administration.
- participate in the integration and mobility of new infrastructure as necessary.
- Determine any operational inefficiencies in the department and suggest workable solutions to deal with them.
- Complete product installation on a new or rebuilt computer.
- Maintain server backups.
- Keep daily server and firewall logs.
- Keep PC/Server software patches up to date.
- Maintain a record of all software licensing at both locations.
- Keep an inventory of all IT equipment at both locations.
- Give remote users phone support.
- Periodic after-hours work for general maintenance, server updates, and upgrades that cannot be completed during regular business hours.
- Incidental trips to the secondary office (Park) for on-site assistance from the main office.
