We have an exciting opportunity for an Audio & Technical Support Desk Technician role in a Music company based in Hertford. It is a pioneering and award-winning creative music agency that curates soundtracks for luxury brands, hotels, high-end retail, auto manufacturers, premium airlines, F&B concepts, clubhouses, and wellness concepts, each with its 'signature sound' that reinforces specific brand values. To join the team and work on all facets of the music delivery and support systems, they are seeking a dynamic individual.   • Audio file editing skills are required, preferably with Sound Forge software.
  • Fundantlame networking skills, including knowledge of WIFI networks.
  • Understanding of operating systems like Windows and Android.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting PC systems.
  • An understanding of audio-visual equipment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reconfiguring new audio tracks with the aid of the Sound Forge program and getting new songs ready for our content administration system.
  • Review and editing of objectionable material from recently added music tracks to the library.
  • Creating and updating related meta-data for newly added tracks to the music library.
  • Assisting in the upkeep of the central music database by accurately entering data related to music tracks.
  • Supporting the online and CD-based distribution of content.
  • Helping with the publication of music updates.
  • Track volume levelling as necessary.
  • Quality control, BPM calculations, and track verification.
  • Assisting with the release of music updates.
  • Supporting the helpdesk and scheduling for clients over the phone, email, and dial-in connections.
  • Giving immediate assistance.
  • Calls are being recorded.
  • Identifying and fixing issues with media players for PCs and tablets across all product lines.
  • Capturing fault data accurately and overseeing the resolution of problems.
  • Investigating and resolving in-depth technical issues with software systems in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Communicating with customers to fully comprehend the configuration, setting, and environment that the system is operating in to find any possible environmental causes
  • Accountability for timeliness of resolution.
  • Supporting and updating the music department as needed.
  • Maintaining close communication with the Account Management teams to stay informed of the status of fault-finding efforts and their results.
  • Helping to build and configure media players for client websites.
  • Helping with the Workshop queue management.
