We have an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative role in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing company based in New York. The business has established itself as a significant player in the industry and is the recipient of the highest standard of quality, Superior, in regard to its production processes. The Sales Representative is a critical role that entails expanding the business with focused clients and markets in the United States.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' worth of sales experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Must be fluent in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin, and/or Fukienese.
  • Prior employment in the manufacturing, food service, or retail industries.
  • Exceptional negotiating and relationship-building skills, along with a strong sales personality.
  • Being able to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and work towards them with drive and urgency.
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills, especially with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and a problem-solving attitude are required.
  • Each week, they must be available to travel to their region to meet with customers face-to-face.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales goals to achieve year-over-year growth by forecasting and creating sales quotas for territories and the region, projecting expected sales volume, and more.
  • Consult with clients to learn about their changing needs and evaluate the quality of the relationship the business has with them.
  • Create field sales action plans to help with regional sales program implementation.
  • Activities should be coordinated with the inside sales team.
  • Promote fresh goods and cutting-edge sales strategies to boost client satisfaction and meet sales targets.
  • Offer product alternatives to customers to meet their requirements and boost sales.
  • Create and use a database and analytical tools to track sales and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide prompt solutions to any potential issues.
  • Examine market circumstances, taking into account shifts in the business and economic climate that may have an impact on sales.
  • Determine the financial and marketing strengths and weaknesses of customers, prospects, and competitors using internal and external sources.
  • Develop regional marketing programs in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows and conventions.
  • Maintain a consistent standard of timely completion of all administrative tasks required by the business and manager in regard to your performance and sales performance, including all necessary company forms and reports.
