We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager role in a London-based Accounting firm. The company is a consultancy organisation with units in Europe and China that offers accountancy and tax services to businesses. They are seeking to hire an ACCA or ACA-qualified person having relevant extensive experience to fill this role.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a UK-based accounting practise and ACCA or ACA qualification.
Strong understanding of VT, Xero, Quickbook, Taxfiler, and Moneysoft.
Strong understanding of UK tax laws and accounting standards that apply to small and medium-sized businesses.
Ability to plan and multitask when working under pressure.
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
It is essential to be fluent in both Chinese and English.
Capability to commute/relocate to London.
A three-year UK accounting background is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Performing regular reporting tasks for accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and personal and business tax returns.
Workload management and resource utilisation.
Calculating corporate and personal taxes.
Submitting to HMRC form CT600 and self-assessment tax returns as well as accounts to CH.
Assisting partners in the administration of the practise by dealing with client inquiries, job planning, and tax investigations.
Examining year-end adjustments and disclosures.
Training and supervising the work of junior team members, as well as ensuring that a quality service is provided successfully.
