We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative role in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing company based in New York. The business has established itself as a significant player in the industry and is the recipient of the highest standard of quality, Superior, in regard to its production processes. The Sales Representative is a critical role that entails expanding the business with focused clients and markets in the United States.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is required.
  • Proven background in inside sales.
  • Sales ability.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Potent phone presence.
  • Ability to form and nurture relationships.
  • Excellent clerical abilities.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and effectively manage time.
  • Must be fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Fukienese.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deal with any customer questions or concerns about orders, deliveries, and/or product lines.
  • Determine customer needs and expectations before recommending new products.
  • Maintain current knowledge of each customer's line of business and use it to increase sales and average order size through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Participate in product evaluations to gain a better understanding of products in comparison to competitors' products.
  • Increase sales through new and existing distributors.
  • Increase sales by educating customers about the features and benefits of our products.
  • Analyze customer trends using systems to boost sales.
  • Utilize time management skills to accomplish team goals.
  • Obey all departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Determine customer satisfaction trends and/or feedback patterns, and share such findings with management.
  • Work with outside sales.
  • Introduce and publicize new products and initiatives.
  • Close sales to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Examine sales reports to identify lost customers and spot trends.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
