We have an exciting opportunity for a Mandarin-speaking Property Paralegal role in a London-based Law Practice firm. This law firm offers comprehensive services and has a global presence. It is regarded as the preferred legal counsel in London by both businesses and individuals from around the world. They're seeking an experienced paralegal for this position.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
- 1 year of minimum experience in residential conveyancing
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the capability to organize time for efficient workload management
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with colleagues and clients
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Performing searches
- Drafting conveyancing paperwork as needed.
- Obtaining records from the Land Registry
- Using LMSs and lender exchanges to keep lenders informed
- Post-completion tasks (including but not limited to SDLT, serving notices, AP1, and requisitions)
- As needed, communicating via phone and email with clients, agents, solicitors, brokers, and lenders
- Compiling financial statements
- Apportionment calculation
- Filling out mortgage deeds and downloading/evaluating mortgage offers
