Job Responsibilities:

• Control daily transactions with a large number of foreign suppliers, including but not limited to those in Asia, Europe, South America, and the US.
• Ascertain that all production deadlines are met and that the finished goods are delivered timely to the port or storage facility.
• Supervise 3PLs (HK and Italy).
• Check the purchase orders and shipping details for accuracy.
• Every day, work closely with the merchandising, quality, and planning/inventory departments.
• Follow up on and rectify shipment issues (HTS codes, customs holds, document declarations, etc. ).
• Oversee regular communications with contracted outside service providers and evaluate their effectiveness for growth.
• Find new resources to increase shipping capacity and efficiency, such as negotiating with carriers, brokers, and other third-party logistics providers.
• Schedule domestic shipments.
• Monitor and confirm that all air freight, ocean freight, and other relevant invoices are processed accurately and promptly.
• Analyze data on shipments, manufacturing capacity, purchasing plans, cost negotiations, tariffs, and customs duties.
• Communicate and collaborate with the US office, carriers, distributors, and clients, as well as internal/external warehouse and customer service departments, to ensure the proper ordering process, delivery, arrangements, and service.
• Create best practices and SOP for all domestic and international imports and exports shipping via carrier, air, ocean, or rail.
• Ensure that all warehouses deliver all goods to Net Suite on time.
• Be accountable for all factory shipping arrangement training and onboarding of new freight forwarders.
• Trace, monitor, and speed up shipping and delivery processes, including data from arrival notices, entries, rate checks, ISF filings, Customs paperwork, and others.
• Arrange manual and digital shipping and receiving files.
• Collaborate with the accounting department and the customs broker to ensure that shipments are released on time.
• Coordination of all new orders, raw materials, finished goods, and/or repair commodities.
• Identify and resolve all transportation-related issues, delivery issues, and/or delays that may arise to guarantee that shipments will arrive satisfactorily.
