We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Liaison Officer role in a Newport-based Education Administration Programs company. It is a UK-based company that only targets the Chinese and British education markets. Its guiding idea is to offer schools and parents a professional, personalised service. They are seeking a dependable Student Liaison Officer who is eager to advance in the organisation by assuming greater responsibility and leaving his or her own mark. The Student Liaison Officer is responsible for maintaining contact with UK boarding schools, students, parents, host families, etc. to guarantee that the well-being of international students and their travel plans are well-cared for.
Job Requirements:
- Integrity and a positive attitude are crucial.
- Adaptability and a positive approach toward learning.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An excellent eye for detail.
- Excellent organising and multitasking skills.
- Being fluent in Mandarin and having a solid grasp of Chinese culture could be advantageous, but it's not necessary.
- The minimal prerequisite is a BSc or BA degree.
- Working experience of at least two years is required.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Support student welfare officers in planning logistics for students' school breaks and extended weekends, such as travel and lodging, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handling inquiries from parents, students, and houseparents on student logistics arrangements in a fast and professional manner.
- General record keeping, data entering, and form-filling duties.
- Assist other team members as needed with various other administrative responsibilities.
