Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders for approval by management and submission to suppliers. Ensure that customer order specifications are conveyed to suppliers correctly. All customer-related forms and applications must be reviewed and completed.
• Implementing and maintaining the vital route, ensuring that all shipments arrive on time.
• Maintaining good relationships with manufacturers, consumers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
• Ensure that import shipments, mainly from Asia, are scheduled on time from the supplier and booked with freight forwarders with all required paperwork and costs negotiated with forwarders.
• Manage all import and export shipments via email, phone, and cloud-based systems, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Ensure that paperwork for export shipments is planned on time and reliably for Air and Sea Freight movements to our warehousing and customer locations.
• Validate Supplier Invoices and coordinate all cloud-based and paper-based record-keeping of all procurement transactions from beginning to end.
• Keep central registers with product descriptions, costs, barcodes, HS codes, and duty rates up to date and accurate. Compiling inventory and stock lists for all products.
• Both shipments and invoices must be analysed, reconciled, problem-solved, and progress tracked on a regular basis.
