We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager role in the UK-based digital cash company and payment system provider. The company is now looking for business development to help with its expansion. Because this is a hands-on sales/business development role, you must be a self-assured salesman with a passion for merchant acquiring, electronic payments, and E-commerce.
Job Requirements:
- Positive attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration.
- Interest in the payments sector as well as expertise in the industry.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a small team that is expanding.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products to make reports and presentations.
- Personal and customer success drive this highly motivated and proactive sales specialist.
- Have a passion for and knowledge of the payments sector.
- You're at ease working autonomously and controlling own pipeline.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients by organizing paperwork.
- Respond to inbound inquiries that have been created as a result of your marketing activities.
- Develop new marketing tactics by analysing target markets and incoming clientele.
- Prepare weekly sales reports for the commercial manager to review.
- Assist in the presentation preparation.
- Issuing agreements and, if required, negotiating.
- All project-related information should be efficiently filed, archived, and managed.
- Keep track of previous, current, and prospective leads/clients in the business pipeline.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for the business development team.
- To build a pipeline of sales prospects, construct a target list of suitable organisations.
- Contact potential clients regularly to construct a picture of their needs and sell consultatively.
- Convert leads to clients and make sure they're properly onboarded.
- Implement marketing techniques to create leads in target areas across the EEA and the UK.
