We have an exciting opportunity for a Solution Engineer role in an Automation Machinery Manufacturing company based in California. It is a prominent worldwide technology firm that is driving the intelligent logistics revolution to provide supply chain management, warehouse, and manufacturing solutions that are adaptable, trustworthy, and extremely efficient. They are seeking a Solution Engineer with the necessary expertise who is motivated by curiosity, seeks a good challenge, and exhibits these qualities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field.
- It is essential to be familiar with MS Office, AutoCAD, and Project.
- 2 years of industrial design experience is necessary.
- 2 years of AutoCAD experience is essential.
- It will be advantageous to have knowledge of logistics, warehouse management systems, or automation systems.
- Detail-oriented, incredibly adaptable and creative, and able to change with the environment
- Excellent presenting and communication abilities.
- Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus, and English is spoken and written with ease.
- Travel must be done frequently.
- A driver's licence is required.
- UK work authorisation (required).
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze data after gathering customer information.
- Support Sales throughout the pre-sales phase and offer internal, standardised solutions that are tailored to the needs of the customer.
- Create CAD designs for solutions in accordance with customer specifications.
- Assistance with the preparation of functional description and data chapters for proposal and bid documents during the solution proposal phase.
- Based on internal resources and particular requirements, create layouts and material flow diagrams.
- Maintain close contact with internal teams including the product team, the R&D team, the project team, etc.
