We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Assistant role in a Machinery Manufacturing company based in Scotland. The company manufactures excavators, wheel loaders, and other machinery that are known for their efficiency and durability across the sector. It is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join its rapidly expanding company.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in accounting or comparable professional experience in finance will be required of the successful candidate.
- Mandarin fluency will be useful for communicating with China's headquarters.
- Working knowledge of an integrated ERP/SAP platform is also a plus.
- Excellent Ms office knowledge including Excel, Outlook.
- Good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a keen eye for detail are all desirable qualities.
- A complete UK driving licence is preferred.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage employee expenses, invoices and credit notes, VAT administration, and weekly payment run assistance.
- Manage vendors, reconcile statements, and respond to supplier inquiries.
- Necessary filings.
- Management of stock inventories.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks for the financial manager.
