We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Consultant role in a Construction company based in Shanghai. The company provides a variety of services, including focused import and export services, with the goal of serving as a one-stop-shop for all import and export requirements. It is seeking to hire a Mandarin speaker to fill this position.
Job Requirements:
- The capacity to collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of computer operating systems, hardware, and applications.
- Ability to think analytically.
- Engineering science and technological knowledge.
- Mandarin and English are both fluent.
- Bachelor's degree or above is preferred, as is relevant job experience in the UK.
- Before commencing employment in Sutton-In-Ashfield, make sure you can commute or prepare to relocate (preferred).
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- In charge of setting up the internal ERP system, communicating with the in-country staff, and transferring data.
- Review purchase plans and give recommendations.
- Review payment claims from employees and compile internal paperwork.
- Identifying commodities, materials, and service requirements.
- Identifying dependable vendors.
- Negotiating the price.
- Comparison of delivery conditions.
- Choosing order quantity.
