We have an exciting opportunity for a Solution Engineer role in an Automation Machinery Manufacturing company based in California. It is a global technology company that is at the forefront of the intelligent logistics revolution. It employs advanced robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to create flexible, dependable, and extremely efficient solutions for storage facilities, factories, and the management of supply chains. It is seeking a Solution Engineer who is motivated by curiosity and craves a good challenge to join the team.

Job Requirements:

5-6 years of experience in the automation or robotic industry.
Engineering degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or a related field.
AutoCAD, Project, and MS Office experience is required.
Understanding logistics, warehouse management systems, or automation systems is preferred.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and innovative in a changing environment.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
Proficient in spoken and written English, with a preference for Cantonese/Mandarin.
It is necessary to travel frequently.
MUst be authorised to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Perform data analysis after gathering customer information.
Assist Sales during the pre-sales phase and offer internal, standardised solutions that are tailored to the needs of the customer.
Create CAD designs for solutions based on customer specifications.
Assist with the preparation of functional descriptions and data chapters for proposal and bidding papers during the solution proposal process.
Using internal tools and specific requirements, generate layouts and content flow diagrams.
Work closely with internal teams such as the product team, R&D team, and project team, among others.
