We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer in a London-based wholesale company. The company seeks to hire a Mandarin speaker to join the team to assist/collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to guarantee the supply cycle. This role will have a 6 months probation period.

Job Requirements:

Understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a focus on advanced Excel usage.
Although complete training will be provided, knowledge and understanding of the supply chain would be advantageous.
Mandarin speaker essential.
Preferably, resides close to Brighouse, West Yorkshire, in a convenient commute area.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Controlling stock/fill rates.
Order processing and expediting.
Admin and import responsibilities.
From conception to completion, project planning.
Responsible to immediate line manager and internal/external customers.
Finding new and current items to source includes using Alibaba Search, requesting sample approval of quotes, negotiating final vendor terms, and monitoring a plan to find these products.
Constantly keep an eye on Service Level, Stock Holding, Savings from Current Vendors, and Completion of New products.
Other duties as requested by the Supply Chain Manager.
