We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer role in a Retail company based in West Yorkshire. It is a passionate group of designers and eCommerce specialists with a focus on the sports and wellness industries. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical, creative, and design flair as well as a passion for ensuring that product and package collateral is of the highest caliber.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Cantonese, Mandarin, and English are all excellent in both written and spoken forms.
- A graphic design degree, HND, foundation degree, or degree.
- Strong organisational skills, dependability, and self-motivation.
- The capacity to take initiative and operate independently.
- Capable of working on several projects at once and completing them on time.
- Outstanding teamwork, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with different vendors as well as domestic and overseas departments.
- IT expertise, including mastery of complex Excel and Google Sheets, Adobe In-Design, Photoshop, and other design applications.
- Must be able to function effectively in a hectic setting.
- Must exhibit a positive outlook, adaptability, and drive for ongoing progress.
- You are naturally curious and inspired by everything you see, so you will be thrilled by emerging trends, new technologies, insights, and new product introductions.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities.
- It would be desirable to have prior experience working for an eCommerce business in a related sector.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Make sure that all product and package artwork is generated and distributed to factories by collaborating closely with the Product Design & Development team.
- Making and submitting artwork for instruction manuals.
- Ensuring that packaging requirements and artwork are produced by important dates that have been set.
- Ideas for and modifications to product graphics.
- Make sure that product warning labels are prepared and contain all necessary selling market compliance information by collaborating with the China QC and Sourcing team.
- Create graphic designs for all new paddle boards in collaboration with product designers.
- Creation of a product logo and branding.
- Collaborating with internal departments to meet all product graphic needs.
- Use your knowledge of artwork and graphic design to enhance our items' designs.
- Make sure the visual handwriting in our design language is uniform.
- You will be able to quickly and confidently convey and express your ideas if you have good sketching, rendering, Illustrator, and Photoshop skills.
- Observe and go above and beyond project deliverables in terms of goals, timelines, and product and packaging requirements.
- For the entire product line, make sure there is global compliance.
- Keep records of all SKUs' specifications and files in our database.
- Support ad hoc work as necessary and complete all jobs as instructed promptly.
