We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager role in a Financial Services company based in Manchester. The firm is an FCA-regulated FinTech that offers secure, simple, and all-inclusive cross-border payment solutions to consumers all over the world. The firm is now looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dynamic Business Development Manager for the UK who will be in charge of bringing in new business for the cross-border payment platform by utilising excellent sales tools and communication abilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance (BS/BA/Finance) or a related field (required).
  • B2B sales experience of at least 5 years.
  • Experience selling FinTech and payment-based products is desirable.
  • A track record of effectively marketing to the education business (universities, colleges, schools, and other academic institutions) as well as an established network of partnerships will be evaluated positively.
  • Ability to earn client recognition through building customer connections via successful sales strategy and communication.
  • A thorough understanding of the educational sector, as well as the capacity to comprehend the demands of an educational institution, are required.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Understanding of the client's due diligence, KYC, and onboarding processes. (Preferred).
  • Possibility of travelling.
  • Experienced in consultative sales and a natural connection builder.
  • Ability to swiftly establish rapport, exhibit product understanding, and provide effective recommendations.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer connections throughout the sales cycle, including pulling on new accounts, promoting referrals, and enhancing integration.
  • Create revenue streams by generating sales leads and converting them into sales.
  • Using content sharing, webinars, and social media, raise brand and proposition awareness.
  • Respond to sales inquiries quickly and with a client-centered approach.
  • To make development easier, identify gaps and customer demands. innovative goods and services, as well as improving the customer experience.
  • Manage the pipeline such that it reflects the economy and the opportunity.
  • Working with the product, technical, operations, and marketing teams, for the project delivery and effective deployment of the solution.
  • Endorse brand image and advertising through campaigns, market analysis, and understanding of competition.
