We have an exciting opportunity for an Activation Manager role in a Marketing & Advertising company based in London. This is Europe's largest social commerce agency specializing in China which provides worldwide firms with award-winning China market entrance strategies. The firm is looking for experienced people to come on board. The Activation Manager will be in charge of leading the creation and ongoing optimization of strategic approach, planning, and execution in China.
Job Requirements:
- Mandarin Chinese native speaker with great presenting abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in mass communication, marketing, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of agency expertise, with know-how in maintaining accounts, projects, people, budgets, and resources.
- Prepared to take on actual responsibilities for business growth and participate in the development of client growth strategies.
- With a good understanding of the Chinese digital media ecosystem - search, social, and e-commerce - have a demonstrated track record of planning and implementing demonstrably effective marketing campaigns across a variety of sectors.
- Enthusiastic about the power of valuable content and information sharing.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and ongoing optimization of strategic approach, planning, and execution in China, encompassing owned, acquired, and sponsored media.
- Develop promotional calendars that take into account not just the objectives and focuses established by the overall marketing strategy, but also consumer trends and insights, as well as high-traffic periods.
- Engage in the creative process by successfully briefing and collaborating with the studio to produce aesthetically pleasing and effective marketing copy.
- Ensure that content and design adhere to strict brand rules while also being tailored to the Chinese market, its users, and current trends.
- Identify innovative ways to improve creative assets and increase impact throughout owned, acquired, and sponsored media channels.
- Plan and implement paid advertising campaigns across all key channels with teams, including commissioning creators and tracking costs.
- Communicate and plan logistics with media channels and partners to ensure that necessary resources are allocated in accordance with the media schedule and plans and that they are completed on time.
- Curate influencer solutions depending on your brand's image and campaign goals.
- Oversee partner briefings and communications, and collaborate closely with them to ensure that campaigns are completed on time and under budget.
- Assist teams in cultivating productive working connections with influencers and partners from a variety of influencer banks.
- Monitor and manage client, influencer, and partner-generated paid media assets.
- Where relevant, supervise and manage on-platform interaction and inquiry management, private traffic management, and online and e-commerce asset creation initiatives.
- To guarantee timely execution, simplify processes in terms of financing and contracts.
- Maintain consumer and other primary stakeholder connections by delivering frequent updates, and monthly reports, and serving as their champion.
- Through presentations and up-selling activities, assist the commercial staff.
- Accountable for correct allocation in accordance with agency benchmarks and continuous monitoring of internal and external resource use to ensure quality work is delivered on time and under budget while maintaining agency efficiency standards.
- At each phase, ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist larger team with in-campaign and post-campaign analysis reports. Ensure accurate account performance tracking within our agency structure and monitor account performance through strict performance and data analysis for both BAU and campaigns.
- To drive consumer traffic and conversions for both retention and attraction, recognize and adapt to new prospects and trends throughout all digital channels.
- Manage market and consumer research to influence our strategy and reaction to briefs/RFPs. Contribute to agency knowledge sharing and learning, as well as strategy suggestions, pitches, and marketing material.
